Finally, after much trouble and toil, The 5 False Suicides is ready for your reading pleasure — here. Or, I suppose, displeasure if you end up not liking it.
The 5 False Suicides is not detective fiction, but It will hopefully read just like it. Lots of clues, lots of misdirection, lots of murder. I hope you enjoy it. And if you miss Manory and Williams, I think we’ll get to see them next time.
Obviously, I want to sell the paperback. And in this case, I think the cover speaks for itself (I say that every time, but seriously how nice would this look on your drab bookshelf?). If you want the Kindle version, I’ve got this gorgeous mapback all over my website for your deductive pleasure.

The 3 diagrams in the book are also in the Kindle version. Yes, I’ve got diagrams again. I thought that Goodnight Irene and The Opening Night Murders could have been improved with diagrams (a diagram of the mansion in the former and the murder weapon in the latter) so I never want to miss an opportunity to use them again. I believe both the mapback and diagrams in T5FS are improvements of the ones in vampire.
As always, thanks for your support/passion/and yes, your precious money.
James

James, Happy holidays and thanks for letting us know. I ordered the paperback today and look forward to reading it. The cover and mapback look brilliant.

Ordered my copy! Alas, it’ll take a week or so to get to me, but I’m sure the map back will be worth it. Regardless, T5FS already sounds like my new favorite of your works—it has that Scooby Doo-ish plot summary and aura that Paul Halter always manages to bring. Coincidentally, I also ordered a Halter. Maybe I was in a mood 🙂

Oh, and I forgot to add: happy holidays! I hope you’re enjoying Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You on loop, and make sure to not go outside at night—especially if it’s snowing. Wouldn’t want you to be found dead in a field, without a single footprint going towards you and with some suspicious fang marks on your neck, would we?

This looks really interesting. I’m a fan of traditional mysteries; locked rooms, clues and red herrings. I’ve sent you a friend request on Goodreads. If you’re interesting in sharing reviews of each other’s work, please get in touch. https://trostlibrary.blogspot.com/p/book-reviews.html
