I haven’t shared any progress for a while. This is what I’m doing…with all my free time.

One of my favorite stories is the one about David Cronenberg breaking down while he was working on Rabid. At one point, he lost confidence and (in a moment of weakness) admitted he was lost. “I’m making a movie about a woman with a vampire penis in her armpit. What am I doing with my life?”

A friend convinced him to go on. “Yes, your films are weird, but there’s something about them,” etc.

Cronenberg took his advice to heart and he went to one of the most distinguished careers in the history of cinema.

So, I say to you (in David’s honor) don’t give up on your vampire-penis in the armpit movie/project/book/article/play/idea. It doesn’t matter how strange your passion–follow it.
