The Architecture of Murder is now available for purchase. You can find it HERE.
What does the immediate future hold? Reading, exercise, and getting some sun. I always have fitness goals before my birthday that never seem to happen. This year, I have at least put myself in a good position to reach some them.
As for writing, I’ll wait until the mood strikes me. I have given some thought to incorporating some second person tense. That might be a good short story down the line. It’s always tough for me after a book comes out. There’s a brief high from accomplishment, followed by the depression of going back to the starting line. I want to keep working, but there are other things to do.
I might end up sticking with the short-story format. I hate the idea that a reader might decide to give me a try, read one novel, dislike it, and then define me based on that one experience. With short stories, they get a larger picture. For someone who writes in a single subgenre (impossible-crime mysteries), I think I’ve managed to play with different styles. My last two books have reflected that. The Architecture of Muder gives a wide range of my interests.
Blah… blah… blah. The point is, my book is out. I hope you enjoy it.
I’ll be in touch.

I have been looking forward to this collection and will order the paperback. Thank you.

Just grabbed the ebook. Looking forward to it! (And here I thought that today (4/10) there would be nothing to look forward to one day after my birthday yesterday!) Thank you!
