I ended up ordering the next proof of Goodnight Irene. I think it’s done.

I love the imagery and the colors. I might be uploading this and removing the old Irene sooner rather than later.
Editing on The Opening Night Murders is going slowly. Today was productive nonetheless. I outlined a new scene and made notes about new clues and dialogue. The book is going to be longer. While the false solutions produced at the end are favorites on mine, some aspects need to be planted and clued properly. I think there was just so much plot that I gave up on doing that in 2019. I know more characters need early screentime… pagetime (?) I think of my books as movies when I write them, so it feels more like screentime.

The good news is that the threads are all mapped out. I just need to not be lazy and layer this thing the way it’s begging to be layered.
I won’t be offering the new e-book versions to be on kindleunlimited. This way, I can sell them on more platforms than Amazon. I don’t know exactly when that will happen. I need to read about that and make some decisions.
It’s been a good summer. I’m hoping for a productive fall and winter to carry this project home.
